Banking and financial markets occupy a very important position in today’s dynamic economic environment, especially in the context of rapidly growing emerging market economies like India. Based on this idea, the Centre for Advanced Banking and Financial Markets at IMI New Delhi makes it a converging point for academicians, students, working executives from banks as well as other financial organizations. Its main domain purpose is   of exchanging and building up knowledge and skills in the field of banking and financial markets.

In order to achieve the above, suggestions are proffered against each individual objective as follows:

  2. To initiate a research series involving conferences and tie-ups with good, peer reviewed national and international journals to encourage doctoral students as well as post-doctoral fellows and academicians to participate and publish in order to give access to a wide audience of research being undertaken on diverse banking and finance topics. {   Already over  10  Banking Research Papers  have been published in Ivey case studies ,International Journals – Emarald , inderscience etc }. 3. To share the policy suggestions from time to time in sync with executives from RBI , public sector, private as well as foreign banks and banking and financial regulatory and supervisory authorities in order to create a benchmark in line with international best practices and identify areas of improvement. Such a platform can also be used to suggest policies for reforms and recommendations for consideration by the government for implementation.
