Centre for Business Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Incubation

Introduction

Innovation, in simple words, is a novel idea made into a good product and marketed well by understanding user needs and behaviour. It, thus, needs to be carefully nurtured and managed, both in from the point of view of technology as well as processes as it brings discontinuous changes into the system. Business innovation does not necessarily have to start by inventing a product or a prototype, the platforms and the idea of shared economy is testament to the power of ideation. Bright minds around the world have powerful ideas; however, they need institutional support and grounding within the ecosystem.

The Centre for Business Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Incubation at IMI New Delhi is dedicated to innovative practices that solve real-world problems. It caters to such needs of bright minds to receive coaching in identifying business opportunities, getting mentored by seasoned entrepreneurs, and be a part of a start-up accelerator. The centre enables IMI students and alumni to start-up businesses and be a part of the Start-Up India initiative.
